Me

Born as a creative outlet and a second focus away from being a new Mother in Sayulita, Mexico in 2018, Mi Lunita is now based in Leicester, England. Originally a sustainable brand making hand crafted, naturally dyed and printed garments, created by self taught illustrator and natural dyer Bean-Mhi (me) and muddled around my kids naps and life. I currently work as an Youth Arts worker and faciliate art and textiles workshops for all ages with an emphasis on holding space for conversations around mental health and well-being and leaning into the beauty in everyday living. I rarely buy new materials and scouring carboots and charity shops for materials to re-use and re-love is a big part of my work. I am particulary interested in the natural world and it's wonder, sustainable art and tapping into existing knowledge and joy to build creative communities. It is my aim to start conversations within these spaces about how we can best protect our planet.

I love to grow flowers.

Please get in touch for private and community workshops, commisions and I'm always open to conversations and collaboration.
